While her current research is rooted in the United States, Andrea is interested in studying comparative politics. During her semester-long study abroad experience in the Czech Republic, she became further interested in the politics of the European Union during processes of expansion and integration. In graduate school, she plans to continue studying the intersection between religion and politics comparatively, specifically the roles of religious groups in various European nationalist movements and parties.
